Design Development and Digitizing Manager - Production Department (2011 to 2012)
Work collaboratively with the Marketing and Production Departments to identify new markets, research and technologies in
corporate branding and logo development; allocate funds for approved proposals,  and oversee planning and testing of all new products in development––including the latest titanium caps / visors. Prepare and monitor expense records, progress and status reports.
Recruit, interview, hire, educate and train new digitizing, production staff and interns.  Supervise 3 Digitizers. Reproduce graphic art and ensure that digitized files are capable of manufacturing and support embroidery proficiency and quality on a finished, curved product.  Build and maintain excellent relationships with sales representatives, customers and vendors in the golf, tennis, outdoor and sports markets.
Products are manufactured using lightweight, breathable, high performance polyester with moisture-wicking, quick-dry properties, incorporating micro-Velcro closure, and ScotchGardTM  stain repellant / resistant protection.
• Produced an average of 8500 pieces per day––generating $85,000 per day!
Sewing Floor Manager (2011)
Directly supervised 150 employees and coordinated all production activities in processing materials and manufacturing operations.  Reviewed and coordinated production orders and schedules to ensure quality and timely project completion.
Resolved operational, manufacturing and maintenance problems to prevent delays and maintain costs.

Managed a staff of 20 operators and 15 warehouse employees. Set production schedule and monitored production line to ensure that all products exceeded quality specifications while adhering to stringent deadlines.  Prepared analytical reports and product specifications for Executive Management.  Coordinated manufacturing and design objectives between relevant departments and worked closely with sales team, vendors and clients in change orders and problem-resolution.
Relocated to Aurora, Colorado to take charge of the Sewing Floor.


SIMPSON RACING PRODUCTS - Harbor City, California
Embroidery Manager (2006 to 2007)

Managed staff of 18 digital embroidery machine operators and supervised production, schedule and quality of embroidered racing suits and shirts for NASCAR drivers, pit crews as well as Sponsors’ logos––Home Depot, M&Ms, Miller, Shell Oil, and others.  Worked with graphic artists to engineer embroidery trims.

Graphic Artist and Embroidery Digitizer  (2005 to 2006)

Performed flat sketching and textile design for the product development department for such clients as:  Forever 21, Wet Seal,
Ross, and Rue 21.


SYMA INDUSTRIES, INC. - Signal Hill, California
President / CEO and Owner (1996 to 2005)

Owned and operated a custom embroidery and digitizing company. Built a reputation for top quality work and rapid turnaround that exceeded expectations––resulting in lucrative contracts with such companies as:  Disney, Calispia, Kawasaki, Yamaha, Quiksilver, Volcom, numerous racing teams and numerous entertainment industry clients.
